The Devil's Purpose - (Now seeking REPRESENTATION)

Picture
When Chicago’s chief of police turns up dead, Sebastian Hunt is on the run. And it gets worse: not only is this young actor the perfect patsy for the murder, but he'll also have to bargain for asylum from the dead man’s pseudo-son, forensic sketch-artist Joe Kincaid, if he wants to survive--a proposition Joe's estranged wife, Mary, isn’t about to make without a fight. But, as another death rattles the household, the three are pressed into a dangerous game of trust—one that will make Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice the key to a sin long-buried in the city’s sordid past and prove, as the Bard hath written, that even the devil can cite scripture for his purpose…

A Sparrow's Fall - (Now seeking REPRESENTATION)

Picture
While auditioning for the title role in Hamlet at DePaul, a ghost from Sebastian Hunt’s murky past at last returns to haunt him. His father, wanted by Interpol, offers him a deal: help him recover a young woman’s diary from the Chicago Police…or else. But when the diary’s author turns out to be Sebastian’s only girlfriend—and his foster mother’s latest mental patient—there’s barely time to breathe before ex-detective Joe Kincaid unearths Chicago's freshest homicide: a U.S. marine, killed by none other than Sebastian’s very kin...and whose death may, ultimately, lead one good man to war...and another, greater man to fall...
